Raphael Roter is a Toronto-based percussionist. He has worked as a dance accompanist at York University (and other schools) since 2010. He also engages with dance as an improvising performer and dancer. in 2012 Raphael toured with experimental Music/Movement group Lila Ensemble to Austria, Slovakia and Croatia. He also plays drumset in the Toronto Afrobeat band Asiko Afrobeat Ensemble. He holds an Honours BFA in Music from York.
